Gymnastique

Gymnastique is Long Island's premier Olympic sized gymnastics facility. The gym, which is located in Syosset, New York, has programs for beginners through advanced gymnastics. Directors Lori Perretta and Dawn Wilensky are responsible for the success of the team. A low athelete-coach ratio is what makes the team very successful. Alexa has been training at Gymnastique since she was four. Alexa is coached by Oleg Redikartsev. Oleg was on the national team of gymnastics for the Ukraine from the age of eight through twenty-four years old. He competed in the Ukraine as well as the Soviet Championships. He emigrated to the United States in 1994, settling in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina working as head team coach of Terry and Don's gymnastics where he trained girls through state and regional championships.
