Alexa concluded her 2010 season this weekend at the Junior Olympic National Championships in Dallas, Texas. SHe finished 37th overall, 20th on vault scoring a 9.375 and 27th on floor exercise with a 9.425. Good job Lex! Full results and three videos have been posted from the meet.

Last night, Alexa placed sixth in the all-around at the Region 6 Championships. She won the vault title with a 9.275 and finished third on floor exercise scoring a 9.250. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Dallas, Texas. Congratulations Lex!

Alexa competed this past weekend at the Level 10 New York State Championships, where she finished 11th in the all-around with a 35.975. She won the vault title with a 9.65. She qualified to the Level 10 Regional Championships on April 9-11. Good job Lex!

On Friday, Alexa placed fourth in the all-around at the Manhattan Classic. She won vault with a 9.55 and third on floor exercise with a 9.350. Good job Alexa! Full results have been posted from the meet.

Alexa had another successful competition at the Winterwonderland, winning the all-around with a 36.00. She also won floor and bars. Congratulations!

Alexa finished first in the all-around in the 17 and over group at the Vitamin Water Classic. She placed second on balance beam with a 9.15 as well as first on vault and floor exercise scoring a 8.95 and 9.45 respectively. Good job Lex!

Alexa traveled to Seattle, Washington for the 2009 Junior Olympic Nationals. She finished 26th in the all-around with a 36.450. She placed 7th on floor exercise and 14th on vault scoring 9.475 and 9.6 respectively. Good job Lex! Full results have been posted.

Alexa has committed to University of Denver for 2010-2011. Congratulations Lex! Alexa competed last night at the Level 10 Regionals and placed third in the all around with a 36.85. She won the vault title with a 9.7 and placed fifth on bars with a 8.85 and fourth on balance beam with a 9.05. She will compete in Washington at the Junior Olympic Nationals on May 15. Good job Alexa!

Today is Alexa's birthday. Happy Birthday! Alexa competed earlier today at the Level 10 New York State Championships. She did really well, finishing seventh in the all-around with a 37.325. She finished third on vault wth a 9.6 and fourth on balance beam scoring 9.45. Alexa qualified to the Level 10 Regionals in Denvers, MA. Good job Alexa!

Alexa competed last weekend (Feb. 28) at the Long Island Classic and placed 2nd in the all-around with a 35.625. She won vault 9.375, 2nd on beam 9.275 and first on floor 9.4. Alexa competed last night at the Manhattan Classic and won the all around with a 36.475. She won vault 9.4, 2nd on bars 9.175 and first on floor 9.15. She fell on beam and had a 8.75. Last weekend, Alexa competed at the 2009 Hard Rock Invitational. She was battling with the flu all week and did not have a great meet. She finished 10th in the all-around and fifth on vault. Full results have been posted.

Gym Changes | December 7, 2008
Alexa has changed gyms from Gymnastique to Hot Shots Gymnastics. This is a major upgrade in both equipment as well as the ability to work with an olympic caliber coach. The facility is amazing with state of the art equipment which will help Alexa reach her goals. Alexa's contact information has been updated.

2 medals at Empire State Games | July 28, 2008
Alexa competed this past weekend at the Empire State Games. She made the finals on Vault and Beam. She won the gold medal on vault doing 2 different vaults (open womens has to do 2 different vaults in the finals) with a 9.5 average of the two vaults. She won the silver medal on the balance beam with a 9.4. Good job Alexa! We have added one new video from the competition.

Alexa tried out for the Empire State Games last night and placed 2nd all around from Long Island Region. She had an amazing vault stuck perfectly! She will be competing in Binghamton for the Games at the end of July. Good job Alexa!

Alexa Withdraws from Regionals | April 27, 2008
Alexa suffered a foot injury this week in practice. The good news is an MRI showed no fracture or breaks in the top of the foot. The bad news is due to the amount of swelling in her foot, her doctor advised her to withdraw from the regional meet. She will continue practices when the swelling is reduced.

Lex Qualified to Regionals | April 7, 2008
Alexa competed yesterday at the Level 10 New York State Championships in Albany, New York. She qualified to the Level 10 Regionals with a 35.375. She won vault with a 9.525 and placed 4th on balance beam with a 9.325. Alexa's bars was 8.575 and had a rough floor exercise with a 7.950 (fell on 2 passes). She strained her back a few weeks ago and is still recovering from that. Alexa's next competition will be at the Level 10 Regionals on April 25-27 in Syracuse, New York.

Alexa competed last Saturday evening at the Long Island Classic. She took 3rd place AA with a 36.8. She placed 2nd on vault (9.5), 4th on balance beam (9.125), and 1st on floor exercise (9.475). She had an 8.7 on uneven bars with a fall. Good job Lex!

Alexa competed yesterday at the Hard Rock Invitational and placed 4th in the all-around with a 36.55. She won the vault title with a 9.65, placed 5th on uneven bars with 9.0, 7th on floor exercise with a 9.15, and got a 8.75 on beam but fell on her front tuck. She added a double tuck at the end of her floor routine for the first time. Good job Lex!
Winter Wonderland Champion | February 10, 2008
Alexa competed last night at the Winter Wonderland hosted by Exper-tiess gymnastics. She won the all-around title with a 36.300. she placed 1st on vault and balance beam scoring 9.500 and 9.150 respectively. She also placed third on floor exercise with a 9.250 and uneven bars with a 8.400. Next weekend, Alexa will travel to Phoenix, AZ for the Hard Rock Invitational. Good job Lex! Alexa just finished competing at the Hill's Maryland Classic today. She finished 8th in the all-around with a total all-around score of 35.550. She placed 4th on vault scoring 9.600. She then placed 10th on uneven bars, 14th on balance beam, and 6th on floor exercise. Full results have been posted from the meet.
